Polar Dive, costume attire

I figure that this was a good way to use the Wolverine costume one last time. It took a while to make it, but it was a blast the whole time. Every year Rexburg holds a "Winter-Fest", they have hot chocolate, Ice bowling, cinnamon rolls (sometimes), horse drawn carriage rides, booths, and a Polar Dive. The news man told me that this would be on the news, so i'll have to find the clip on the internet(no TV, we have the box, but no signal). Last year I dressed up as well, it was shown on the recap of the past year of Rexburg, and I was the only one to dress up then, and this year there were a handful of people who decided to follow suit. hopefully this can be a fun tradition for Rexburgs' polar dives in the future. As well, I got a cool beanie for being in the first few to jump (its colder then, not as many warm bodies to warm up the water).

Elephant Party

Since Fred Eaton would never have an elegant new years eve party, he threw an elephant new years eve party. We even dressed for the occasionThe elephant party treats.
The elephant party game. If you haven't played the game "Would You Rather", you should. It was so fun, before we knew it, it was midnight.
Ah, the only way to start the new year right.
Happy New year everyone! Hope this year goes smoother than the last!
Ok, here's the lobster story... At the Schow family  white-elephant Christmas party, Troy ended up with the live gift this year, a lobster, even though his loving wife told him he shouldn't. He listened to the crowd instead who told him NOT to listen to his sweet wife. Well his sweet wife was pretty angry and told him she wasn't going to touch the nasty spidery thing. Tension heightened when she was the one who had to cart the repulsive thing back to Grandma's house while Troy went to a movie. She made the crowd who talked him into it take it back to Grandma's. The sweet wife didn't feel bad when the thing died before he cooked it and it didn't taste very good. See the picture? Ew.

Christmas Post Finally!

I just want everyone to know that this was a wonderful Christmas at Josh and Franci's house in Menan, and it was the first Christmas in YEARS that I woke up before 7 am. Actually, I don't ever remember doing that...
