2 Years Old

I can't believe I have a 2 year old! His party was kind of last minute, not because I wasn't anticipating it but because I hadn't made up my mind what to do. Luckily wal mart had ball decorations. Rockwell LOVES balls more than anything (except his dad and grandpas)

We took too long getting started so Rocky snuck a cupcake

He loved blowing out the candles so much he made me light them three times so he could blow them out.

He was so happy when the first present he opened was a ball that he didn't care about the rest of his gifts. We had to coax him to open the rest of his presents.

It was so fun to have some family, some cousins and some neighbor girls (who saw me bringing in the party stuff and we invited last minute)

Our Boys!

I heard Rockwell talking after his nap one day and went in to see him reading a book. It made me so happy. Like reading to him really does make a difference. It helps that this book has a ball in it.

Rocky loves baths and now he loves baths with Otto.

I just love this sweet baby!

Otto's blessing

We blessed Otto a couple weeks ago.

While I was getting ready for church I put Otto on the bed and Rocky climbed in with him. It was so sweet.

After the beautiful blessing we went across the street to the park for a light brunch.

Here's Otto and Great Grandpa and Grandma Barnes

with Grandma, Grandpa, Jordan, and Anna. They're so cute and matchy

I love this picture of all of us! We're kind of mathcy. Unplanned even!

It was a beautiful day and Rockwell discovered the water pump at our picnic. With Grandpa Leon egging them on and before I could object, Rockwell and his cousin James had a full blown water party. We had to strip them down to their nothings. They had a blast.
We had a wonderful day and we're so grateful for everyone who came and supported us.
