Weekend in Sacramento

First of all a picture for Troy: this is the boy, Chaco.

Now about my trip: I got to go to Sacramento last weekend with my Mom to see Troy. I didn't take very many pictures, but I went shopping with my mom and Heidi, hung out, anddid some homework while Troy was at work. We went to Olive Garden, an awesome ward party with really good food and a crazy water-basketball game, and to the lake when Troy wasn't working. It seems they like to make the guys work extra hours whenever I go down there (I went down for Memorial day weekend, too, and they worked extra), but Troy managed to get off a little early. It was so good to see him!

I don't recommend being apart if possible, but Troy and I are trying to look on the bright side. We decided that being apart helped us realize that we still like each other, we appreciate each other more, and we do, actualy and (after two years of marriage) need each other after all.

My Wife Is...

My wife is so very special to me. She is THE most beautiful woman in the world. She is the song of my heart. She is my direction. She is the most wonderful part of my life. She is very sweet. She always makes me laugh or smile. When I am feeling down, I go to her. When she is far away, I look at pictures of her. So even when I can't be near her in person, she is fixed to my heart. When I first knew her she was the cutest girl in school, then when we got married she was the prettiest lady I knew. Now looking back I know that there were none more beautiful. And I somehow didn't quite see it that clearly at first. Now I wonder, how in the world did I get so lucky? How did I get to end up with her, the very unique woman that she is? I guess she must have loved me too, and put aside my flaws. Sometimes I feel sorry that she got stuck with me. But I love her for letting me be part of her life. I love her for just because. For who she is, for what she does, for the way she smiles at me, for her laugh, oh... I love her laugh. And I love her because, my wife is everything to me.
