Haircuts

Rockwell got his first haircut yesterday. I was putting it off because he doesn't have much hair, and what he does have lays so flat to his head. But he had a mullet and a mohawk so it was time. He LOVED it- as you can tell by the pictures.

Troy also got a haircut this week. He shaved it ALL off for the sake of art- he did a head mold. Luckily this time I didn't have to help make the mold, but I'm going to let him put up all the pictures and explain what's going on with that. I have to say that I don't mind him being shaved as much as I minded his crazy curly hair last fall.

Sweet Baby

Here are a few pictures Kathy and Leon took of Rockwell when they were babysitting him. I love watching his face and all the expressions he can make. There's not much else to say about these pictures except that they capture my Rockwell and make me happy. Enjoy!

Utah Trip with a New Camera

Tah Dah! We got our new camera and I took it to Utah, turning an ordinary trip into an extraordinary trip. Troy was working most of the weekend and Mom and Dad were going to Utah to see my Uncle Doug (who we haven't seen in years) so Rocky and I went along for the ride. Rockwell wasn't too thrilled that he had to be in his carseat for so long. Logan took this picture of me. Yikes!

We traveled down with Heidi and her kids, Logan and Lydia, and with Mom and Dad. Sorry, this was a funny shot from behind.

We got to see Grandpa Blake and Grandma Betty and get pictures of them with Rockwell for his memory book and so he knows he was alive at the same time as they were, even if he might not remember.

We've been trying to get Rocky to climb on things, practicing on the stairs, to no avail. I left him by the stairs at Aunt Jerry's house while I got ready hoping the idea of climbing the steps would distract him. When I checked on him a minute later he was up on the first step trying to climb some more!

Rocky was so funny with this balloon! He thought it was so funny when I bounced it off his head and toes. He chased it all weekend.
In all, we had a great weekend, did some shopping, some visiting, and too much eating. It was good to get out of dreary Rexburg for a few days and have a change of scenery, slight as it was.

One of Each of Us

Here's some random pictures. Sorry, no fun stories. The one of Rocky is so funny to me partly because I know I will one day regret letting him watch T.V., but it cracks me up that he'll sit still and watch it. This is what we do on sick days, like every day for the past week. The one of me (Alison) is one that was taken for a photo shoot for my hairstylist's website. Random! But it was fun. She does an AWESOME job, btw- so if you need a haircut, I can get you her info.

The one of Troy I love. He was trying on a child's hat made by the amazing crochet-er Nita. Yes, it's purple, and yes, it has spikes.

Notice the nasty grainy-ness of the photos? Well expect much less of them because we ordered our camera! Hooray! It should be here in a week or two and when it gets here just be prepared picture oVeRlOaD!
